It's coming home, it's coming home... or is it? All the betting, news and banter on the South African World Cup 2010 in here please.

At last it's the climax to what's been a pretty low key tournament for me. No single team or individual has been outstanding and few, if any new talents have really emerged like they normally do on this stage.
Will Holland revert to type eventually and blow up at the death or will Spain pass us all to death. I hope it's a classic but I'm not expecting too much.
But anyway... It's a bit earlier for me to be nailing my colours to the mast from a betting perspective. Here's the match odds in any case...
Netherlands v Spain (19:30 BST) 14/5 12/5 6/5 100.62 %
Any early thoughts?

What to do ?
I put money on Holland before the Japan game to win the world cup at 7/1. Feeling

now that Spain are more likely winners. Should I put money on them to win at 4/7 in order that Im in a no lose sitauation or stick with the original ?
Answers on a postcard ....

Depends how much you stand to win. Personally I'd let it run and enjoy supporting Holland in the final!

I can't pick a winner of this match. Spain are favourites but Holland are quite capable of springing a surprise.
I did well last night and re-invested the winnings in three small bets for tonight.
Villa to score anytime. I've been on him for top scorer since before it all started.
Netherlands to get the first card.
Van Bommell to get a card at any time.
Good luck to anyone having a bet tonight.

I've got Villa/Spain double so 1-0 with Villa scoring would do me nicely. To cover it a little though I've got Sneijder to score at any time and Holland to win the cup.
A tempting bet is van Bommel to be the first player booked it's 8/1 at
Coral.

Cant talk you of it mate but one thing that I heard on the radio earlier was talk of the influence that Mr Webb might have tonight.
It's a bit of a cliche to say the Dutch are more physical than the Spanish however, Webb may be more tolerant of a few challenges and his appointment may suit Holland more than Spain.
Very, very close to call for me.

Hoping the Dutch win tonight, but more importantly I want a good game, can't see that happening after what Ive seen so far from both these teams, need a earl goal from Holland.

Holland at 3/1 is tempting in a two-horse race. On the other hand if this Spain side is really head & shoulders above everyone else then 23/20 is arguably even better?
Trouble is I'm still not sure how good Spain are. Daft I know but I keep thinking of Barca v Inter in the CLFinal. FOr all their great players (Some of whom on show tonight) Barca couldn't break down a well-drilled Inter. That said, Jose ain't in charge of this Dutch side.
I might need to look at other markets tonight.
