Up to £1m will be bet in advance of Friday's Royal Wedding between Kate Middleton and the heir to the throne Prince William making it one of the biggest non-sporting events for British bookmakers. According to
Paddy Power the Royal Wedding will be eclipsed only by the market it offered on the election of the new Pope in 2005. Bets being offered by
William Hill include whether the new bride will be kissed on the lips or the cheek when the couple appear at Buckingham Palace, who will catch her bouquet and who will cry first. Odds of 25-1 are being offered on Prince Harry being too drunk to complete his Best Man's speech.
I also heard someone stands to win £75k if Kate wears some special tiara - the Queens maybe?
Bonkers. But it could be the only way to make it of any interest whatsoever.

This probably should be in the Horse Racing section but it is sort of related to the wedding:
A horse called Royal Wedding is running at Fontwell Park tomorrow at 17.30. At 8/1 it's got to be worth a punt.

Having gone and checked the odds the best you seem to be getting is 4/1 so I think I'll leave it alone.
