Good start, had Robertson in-play to win the first frame at 1/2.

Been watching the snooker, defeating champ is gone. Hendry almost retiring, Ronnie again saying he will walk away.
One bet today, Dott to beat Carter, this was in-play got 11/8 . Carter leads 1-0. Good price on Dott considering he has been a finalist here 3 times, not in form this year but there is something about the Crucible that gets him going. Must be the longer frame matches, more concentration I s'pose.

5-3 Dott after the first session. The score could have been 8-0 either way, so many chances for both players. very scrappy

Hendry got battered last night by Selby
Could be the end of the legend at the Crucible forever unless he can conjure up something special. Selby looked very impressive.

Yeah, I read / heard he was going to retire. I think that's him out of the top 16, which is significant for qualifying for the bigger tourneys. Would be sad to see him bow out but sometimes I wish some of the best sportsmen would quite while they're ahead. Too many go on forever and tarnish the reputation the had.
Anyways, I think Ronnie could be in the mix. Would be typical of him to sa he's not playing, change his mind the next day, and then go on and win it. Tough game to finish off tonight against Murphy though.

Semi's
Ding v Trump
Higgins v Williams
Williams is favourtie to win the event know with the semi's just starting.
I suppose it's set up for a Higgins win after last year's controversy and with his dad passing away recently.
I've never been a fan of his.
I'll take Ding to win
