It took an hell of a long time but theres a couple of winners on the board!
+17pts for the day which puts a dent in the losses from this endeavour. I've got another thread which I keep up to date with every bet I make and I've not been
losing but not making it either. I always find it hard to post the first winner(s) in a new thread for some reason but it always comes good eventually. Been too busy with "professional" life to do write ups but I study the races all the same.
Kingsgate Native (2nd) was very good today and I will be wary of him at Ascot in the Kings Stand. I'm hoping Markab can bounce back for that though its hard to recommend him. He wants rock hard ground if he's going to win and the trainer has said he doesn't want to run him on that type of surface again....
Classic Vintage will be better on an easier surface. He wants a bit of give and wasn't letting himself down on it today. His form behind Times Up in the November handicap is getting better all the time and I reckon its a race to keep an eye on - if not just for the winner.
Rolling balance is around the -32pts mark.
I'll recommend Our Jonathon for the Wokingham here as an antepost bet. He's available at 16/1 with
Bet365 and
Will Hill. He's still well handicapped and 7f will be the making of him. Won 1 of 2 at the track - the one he lost was last year when he obviously lost his way for the season.
