WGC - HSBC Champions

Postby dandydons1903 » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:10 pm

This week's only event is the final World Golf Championship event of the year and several high profile players are giving China a miss Webb Simpson,Phil Mickelson,Sergio Garcia(taking a break) and Luke Donald(his wife is due to give birth). So it's Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy who head the betting in a tournament where no cut will be made.

Gone with,

Peter Hanson@33/1 - Playing some nice stuff at the minute, finished no worse than T11 in his last four events. Also was T6 here last year.
Robert Karlsson@40/1 - Has a good record in the far east and has some goods finshes here especially
Thomas Bjorn@50/1 - The Dane has had an amazing season with 3 victories in the bag and his stats coming in this week are incredible.
Alvaro Quiros@66/1 - The huge hitting Spanaird had a shocking week in Valderrama so will be looking to flourish on a course more suiting to his talents.

After two rounds Jacobson and Oosthuizen suprisingly lead with Scott,Kaymer,Bradley,Casey and Westwood not far off.

Quiros is my best hope and he lies 6 back after a great round today but it is always difficult to follow it up the next with another.

3rd Round bet

K.J. Choi to beat Hunter Mahan. COME ON K.J.
