Back in Spain this week, Valencia in fact for the Castello Masters. Matteo Manassero is back to defend his title whilst Sergio Garcia is back in is homeland looking to capture a first title in a while.

Gone with a Scotsman, Englishman, an Irishman. Hope they ain't a joke, also threw in an Argie.

Peter Lawrie@35/1 - Plays his best golf in the Iberian countries and comes into with an 11th in Portugal. Was 3rd here last year.
Tano Goya@50/1 - Goya's game is in good nick and was 13th last year.
David Horsey@60/1 - 2 top 25 finishes in the last year, Horsey has stepped up a level in class this season with some great displays.
Richie Ramsay@80/1 - Have had him on several times this season but whenever accuracy is needed his name is always high on my list.

The final event of the PGA season will see Webb Simpson and Luke Donald locking horns to capture the number 1 spot on the US Money List.

I've gone with neither and instead chosen,

Jeff Overton@40/1 - T6 last week and has performed well here in the past.
Ryan Palmer@50/1 - Superb record around here including a victory in 2004.
Chris Stroud@66/1 - Again has had some cracking results on this layout
Brian Gay@75/1 - Let me down last week but finished 12th last year, another run like this please

Just on the Euro tour again. 3 each way bets:

Thomas Aitken 28/1 - Got to stick with him I feel after having him on the last 2 tourneys and he played well. Hopefully he'll push on and win this time.
Lorenzo Gagli 33/1 - Always seems to be up there but I never bet on him so going give him a try this week.
Bernd Weisberger 100/1 - Wanted a long shot and saw this guy tipped elsewhere - decent chance he'll give me a run for my money.

Weisberger had a howler and is out of it already. Aiken pretty good at -3, Gagli is -1.

My players fought back and gave me the :thebirdman: today.

Horsey had a 65 and Ramsay a 64 to shoot back into to contention.

Sergio Garcia leads, it will be interesting to see how he goes over the weekend as he hasn't been in this position for a while.

Bet tonight, Greg Chalmers to beat Nick O'Hern
