Selectabet.net is a free site (and always will be) with betting tips, news, previews, free bets and competitions. The idea is that here at Selectabet.net we can all share some sporting knowledge and opinion so that we can beat the bookies.

You’ll find regular features on the site such as big match previews, tips from the newspaper tipsters, Challenge Lawro, The £10,000 Challenge, free bets and promotions. You can join the community by leaving comments after each article too.

How it works

The site is supported by advertising revenue only so please click on the ads and links to any bookmaker’s sites to show your support. You’ll be able to pick up a free bet if you open and account from any of the links, whilst earnings go towards paying for hosting and external help with the site as well as the odd beer

The Team

Man of mystery, Mr Selectabet started the site in 2007 (ish), although he can’t quite remember. His passion is football but loves watching any kind of sport, although Mrs Selectabet often hides the remote control. He loves a flutter and sharing some betting banter and isn’t too bad at picking the occasional winner either.

He’s joined by Paul Harper, who is the Dougie Donnelly of Selectabet. you’ll find him watching any (and we mean ANY) sport if it’s on the box. Unlike Dougie though, he’s not a Clyde fan but a season ticket holder at Tranmere Rovers. His passion for sports also flows into a flutter or two and he is always looking for a good value bet rather than gambling on odds on favourites.
