French Ligue 1 title-chasers AS Monaco welcome Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to the Stade Louis II in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, and could well come away with a win to book their place in the knockouts given the contrasting form between the two sides, which could see Tottenham eliminated from the competition.

AS Monaco are currently top of Group E in the Champions League with eight points from four games, and will seal their place in the knockouts if they can see past Tottenham this week. The French Ligue 1 giants are unbeaten in Europe this season and have already enjoyed a victory over Tottenham in the reverse fixture.
Monaco have been full of goals and have picked up more points at home than any other side in their division ahead of their meeting with a Spurs outfit who haven’t won an away game in any competition since September. As for the visitors, Tottenham are third in the group having picked up just one win so far but have been inconsistent in recent weeks with Saturday’s win over West Ham United ending a six-game winless run in all competitions.
Ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash, AS Monaco boast four wins and a draw from their last five in all competitions at the Stade Louis II while Tottenham Hotspur have failed to win their last three on the road. And the lack of clean sheets in recent weeks could see a goal-laden Monaco outfit breaching the Spurs backline in the week. Monaco are 8/5 with Paddy Power to win against Tottenham on Tuesday.
