Arsenal are the in-form side between the two ahead of Sunday afternoon’s meeting, boasting nine wins from their last 10 in all competitions. The Gunners have beaten formidable at the Emirates Stadium too, winning four of their last five, conceding just two goals, so an impotent Tottenham outfit could well struggle to breach such a solid backline. Currently third in the Premier League table with 23 points from 10 games, Arsenal could go top this weekend if they beat Tottenham, ending a four-game winless run against their rivals in the process, and Bet365 are giving odds of 19/20 for Arsenal to win against Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur, however, have the bragging rights, having won one and drawn three of their last four Premier League head-to-heads with the Gunners. Spurs held Arsenal home and away in the division last season, but come into Sunday’s clash off the back of poor form. Tottenham have gone five games without a win in all competitions, scoring just two goals, and could well come unstuck to their rivals as a result. Currently fifth in the Premier League with 20 points, a win for Tottenham could see them go above Arsenal in third, but the lack of wins this season might see them nervous at the Emirates Stadium.
