Chelsea are in fantastic form ahead of this weekend’s meeting, boasting four consecutive wins in the Premier League. Antonio Conte’s men have beaten the likes of Hull City, Leicester City, Manchester United and Southampton without conceding a single goal, and have the best home form in the division – 12 points from five games.
Currently fourth in the Premier League table with 22 points from 10 games this season, Chelsea could finish the day in a runners-up spot if they beat Everton, as second-placed Arsenal and third-placed Liverpool don’t play until Sunday. There’s big motivation for the Londoners to continue their winning run as a result, and they should have enough to pick up all three points against the Toffees given the visitors’ poor away form of late. Chelsea are 8/15 with William Hill to win against Everton.
Everton find themselves in an impressive sixth place in the Premier League with 18 points under manager Ronald Koeman, but wins have been few and far between of late. The Merseysiders have picked up just one league victory in their last five, and have gone three away games without a win ahead of Saturday evening’s clash. A win would see Everton replace fifth-placed Tottenham in the table while narrowing the deficit to Chelsea to just a single point. Everton are 33/5 with 888 to win against Chelsea.
It’s perhaps worth noting Chelsea haven’t lost at home to Everton in the Premier League since 1994, boasting four wins and a draw in their last five head-to-heads at Stamford Bridge.
