Tottenham have made a slightly sluggish start to their Premier League campaign, but have managed to collect four points from their opening top-flight games.
Last time out the north London side secure a last-gasp 1-0 home victory over Crystal Palace, as summer signing Victor Wanyama scored his first goal for the club.
Spurs have a poor record against Liverpool of late, having not beaten the side from Merseyside in the last seven meetings. However, the last two meetings have finished in draws.
Tottenham are favourites to win this clash at odds of 11/8 with Marathon Bet, but they will have to break that poor run of form against the Merseysiders.
Liverpool reverted to last season’s unpredictable form last time out by being beaten 2-0 at Premier League new boys Burnley last weekend. The defeat followed that incredible 4-3 win on the other side of north London at Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side bounced back from that Burnley defeat with a 5-0 hammering of Burton Albion in the League Cup in midweek though. The Reds does have a positive record at White Hart Lane in recent games, winning twice in their last three visits and keeping clean sheets as well.
The result of this game will depend on which Liverpool team turns up and the Reds can be backed at odds of 28/13 with Marathon Bet to win this clash.
This clash is a difficult one to predict, as Liverpool are involved and they are just so inconsistent. Tottenham have not started the season in great form. I can see this game finishing all-square, which is available at odds of 28/11 with Marathon Bet.
