FA Cup Semi-final

Crystal Palace heads into this FA Cup semi-final in mixed form. The Eagles have won one, drew one and lost one of their last three Premier League games, but now look to have secured their Premier League status for next season.
However Palace have a decent record against the Hornets of late, having been beaten just twice by the Hornets in the previous ten meetings. The Eagles have kept a clean sheet in their last three FA Cup games, so may be difficult to breakdown for the goal shy Hornets.
Palace have never won the cup, but made the final in 1990, only to be beaten in a replay by Manchester United. Alan Pardew’s side can be backed for the win in this clash at odds of 6/4 with Bet365.
Watford have also never won the FA Cup, but suffered a final defeat back in 1984 against Everton. Their recent form has not been great heading into this clash, as Sanchez Flores’ side have won just once in their last five outings.
However, their 2-1 win at Arsenal in the quarter-final suggests they could just raise their game for this big occasion. The Hornets can be backed for the win at odds of 11/5 with Bet365.
Quique Sanchez Flores’ side will be looking for Nigerian international striker Odion Ighalo to return to scoring form after a goal draught. The former-Udinese striker is odds of 6/1 with BetVictor to open the scoring in this clash.
This game could be a very tight one, as neither of these teams has been prolific of late and I can see a low-scoring contest between them. The draw at normal time may not be the worst bet to go for and that is available at odds of 23/10 with BetVictor.
