Chelsea v PSG Betting preview: Chelsea and PSG to draw at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea and PSG meet in the second leg of the last 16 of the Champions League with the French side holding a slender advantage from the first leg.

Premier League champions Chelsea’s form has picked-up in recent weeks, as the Blues have taken three wins from their last four league games. Veteran Dutch boss Guus Hiddink has still only suffered one defeat as Chelsea boss and that defeat came in the first leg 2-1 defeat at the Parc Des Princes.

Chelsea’s form in the Champions League has actually been decent this season, as Hiddink’s team had won their previous three games in Europe’s elite competition prior to the first leg defeat.

With the Blues form improving they cannot be written-off in this tie and are odds of 15/8 with Boylesports to win this clash.

PSG are enjoying a strong season both at home and abroad. The big spending French side are running away with their domestic league title and record in the Champions League is good as well.

The club from the French capital have won five out of their last seven games in Europe’s elite competition. The two games they failed to win saw Laurent Blanc’s side being defeat by Spanish giants Real Madrid and also a draw against the same opposition.

Blanc’s team have won their last three games in the competition though and also scored at least two goals in each of those three wins. The French side can be backed at odds of 17/10 at Bet365 to come away from London with a win.

This game is a really tough one to call, mainly due to Chelsea returning to something like the form they displayed last season. I simply cannot separate these two teams.

Big Tip

For me this has the makings of a draw, which can be backed at odds of 12/5 with Bet365, as I believe the two teams are quite evenly matched since Chelsea’s return to form.
