Manchester City v Everton pits the free-spending Citizens against the free-scoring Toffees in the Capital One semi-final second leg.
Manchester City v Everton
Capital One Cup semi-final second leg

The home side head into this semi-final with a 2-1 deficit from the first leg at Goodison Park, but the away goal means the City are favourites to progress in this tie, which they are odds of 8/11 at Bet365 to achieve.
However, the Citizens form has been inconsistent this season, especially away from the Etihad Stadium. At home their record is good though and in Argentinian international striker Sergio Aguero have a forward in-form, scoring four times in City’s last two games. The striker is the favourite to open the scoring in this clash at odds of 3/1 with Paddy Power.
Everton travels to the Etihad Stadium hoping for an improvement in form, after three games without a win. The Toffees have been awful in defence this season, but are the third highest-scorers in the Premier League. Roberto Martinez’s side are odds of 23/4 with 888 Sport.
The Toffees were poor in a 2-1 defeat at home against strugglers Swansea last time out and the fans are starting to lose patience with their underperforming team and boss.
One positive for the visitors is that they achieved a goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium a few weeks ago. A similar result would see the men from Merseyside through to the final of the competition.
With their defence playing so poorly of late, it seems unlikely, but the return to fitness of captain Phil Jagielka should help strengthen that leaky backline.
My recommendation for this game is City to record a victory and there to be under 2.5 goals scored, which is available at Sportingbet at odds of 15/4.
