Inverness CT v Hearts
Scottish Premiership. Friday 11th September, KO 19.45, live on BT Sport 1.
Hearts fan @thefootygaffa is back and here he tells how his side should take care of Inverness tonight….
This looks a great match for Hearts to bounce back from the controversial Hamilton defeat before the international break.
Inverness have been struggling big time this season sitting 3rd bottom of the league without a win and only 3 draws to their name. To be fair to big Yogi though they have been hit with a number of key injuries and not really replaced the departed Graeme Shinnie (Aberdeen) and Marley Watkins (Barnsley). First and second choice keepers Brill & Esson are both injured so Williams looks likely to start between the sticks again. In defence they have been without both Meekings and Warren and in the midfield the absent Vincent, Doran and Foran have left them a bit crippled.
They will presumably have to cope without Mbuyi-Mutombo this weekend as he was red carded last time out again Dundee much to manager Hughes anger. A lack of goals seems to be a big problem for Inverness this season with them only scoring 4 goals which is a tally matched by Hearts forward Juanma himself!
Robbie Neilson will be desperate to get back to winning ways and put the disappointment of Hamilton to bed. The squad is looking good for the match with the Scotland U21 quintet of Hamilton, Paterson, King, Nicholson and McGhee all reporting back from their win over Northern Ireland unscathed. Augustyn (hernia) and Pallardo (Achilles) are both back in full training now but I imagine they will be on the bench at best.
Predicted Hearts line up:
Paterson Rossi Ozturk Oshaniwa
Jimmy Gomis Buaben
King Walker Sow
The bet I like though is Hearts to score 2 or more goals @ 2.5 (Coral). Hearts have been free scoring for well over a year now and its becoming a bit of a habit. We are averaging 2.5 goals a game this season (we average 2 goals a game in away matches in the premiership this season) due to the attacking threat we carry with King, Walker, Sow and Juanma allowed to stay so far up the park. Paterson is also a big threat down the right hand side and at set pieces having already bagged a couple of goals from right back!
Just see Hearts being right up for this match and certainly can’t see us losing it so the Hearts DNB @ 1.75 (BetVictor) is looking a very strong bet also for those looking for a little bit of safety.
Hearts to score 2+ 2.5 (Coral)
