Welcome back to the start of the football season. We are back looking for a profitable column, which took a partial hiatus last season, but the season before yielded in excess of 70% each week. How did we do this? We had two sections. One of which was our magic mark section along side our double chance not to lose section.
Now without too much to go on, punters in general giving tips will be tricky!
Our magic mark column concentrates on selecting three 1.8 – 4/5 or greater selections which we back in three doubles. Two correct will yield a small profit, with all three pocketing a lovely profit. The selections for this column will be cross market selections and will quote the bookies we recommend that have the best price.
Our double chance column will usually be between three and four selections looking for 5/4 – 6/4 or more!
The first selection in our magic mark column, is to consider QPR +0 on the Asian handicap, thus a draw no bet market. QPR, eager to get back to the premier league will take on a Charlton side dragging its heels at the wrong end of the league last season. Charlton are no mugs, although picking points up last season was difficult at times. The last time the sides played, saw a trade of victories, both at 1-0 scorelines.
Our second selection is one, where the visitors to Chesterfield have lost just once in the last six and we have evens on them with a quarter goal start, means a half win with a draw. Barnsley have played out four draws in the last five in this fixture, with the other having Chesterfield edgings Barnsley by a single goal. At the price, Barnsley cannot be overlooked and our opinion, with Chesterfield billed by some to struggle a bit this season could be a steal.
Our final selection has Luton +0 on the Asian handicap to beat Accrington. Luton billed as strong second favourites for the league two title have been fuelled as a side that will score a lot of goals this season. We read one article with a recommendation on buying Luton points. Luton pocketed four from six points last season in the head to head and are unbeaten since 2008. I feel as though Luton will come out the blocks, but am confident on backing Luton on the draw no bet at 1.79 than the 2.5 on the away win!
£10 in three trebles split pays £75.55 with BetVictor – 1pt. (3 doubles)
Our double chance not to lose looks at three selections, best price 2.90 at Bet365. No surprises that Middlesbrough are expected by backers to get off to a promotional start by registering points and make the trip to Preston on Sunday to achieve points on matchday one. Boro have been given the biggun by pundits to succeed this season. Southampton travel on the back of Europa League success on Sunday and face Newcastle that had a near relegation experience last term. Had the season continued for another three or four games, we could have seen a different story.
Southampton have plenty of pre-season warm up and can take something from Newcastle this weekend. Our final selection is Wigan, who look to regain some composure after where they were two seasons ago! Coventry had financial issues in the last year, with a strong Wigan side looking to buck their trend.
