Serena Williams with the exception of her 4th round loss at Wimbledon has dominated the WTA circuit in 2013. The world number one has been dominant in Istanbul too and has won her 3 round robin matches very comfortably. Today she comes up against a player who has given her plenty to think about over the years. Jelena Jankovic has a 4-7 H2H against Serena which is more competitive than most players, although the last time they met a few weeks ago in Beijing Serena eased to a 6-2 6-2 win. I think Jankovic can be more competitive today, but needs to get off to a good start and try and pressure Williams. If Serena gets away she could steamroll the Serbian. Its been a very good season for Jankovic who is back in the WTA top 10 and she will want to show she will be an even bigger force in 2014. I think Jelena with a +7.5 game handicap at 8/13 is a solid price.
