Napoli v Torino – Sunday 27th October 11:30am kick-off, live on BT Sport
Second placed Napoli take on Torino in the early kick-off in Serie A on Sunday at the Stadio San Paolo looking to close the gap on leaders Roma before the capital club play later in the day.
Napoli’s only defeat of the season so far came at the hands of Roma last week at the Stadio Olimpico. That and a home draw to newly promoted Sassuolo have been the only blips in what has been a good start to the campaign for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Torino sit in tenth in the league standings but that position doesn’t tell the full story. They have drawn a lot of games including against Inter Milan and AC Milan in the last few weeks.
Defensively, Torino look vulnerable and they have only kept one clean sheet this season. With the firepower that Napoli possess, the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Jose Maria Callejon and Marek Hamsik, you’d have to expect a few goals in this one.
Although, that said, Torino have a relatively good record in this fixture. In the last four meetings at San Paolo, there have been a win apiece and two draws so it may be foolish to completely write off the Clarets for this one.
