I’m hoping today is going to be the day that kick starts 2013′s bookie bashing, with 3 selections.
Now, this is going to be a quick one from me today, but I have lots of confidence in today’s selections, something I haven’t been able to say for a few weeks now. Good luck if you’re following.
2:30 Meydan – Ottoman Empire
Many will overlook Harry Bentley’s mount in this race due to finishing 8th lto. However if you look a little deeper, the horse actually covered significantly more ground than the Winner, and he will appreciate this stiffer test of stamina. Boylesports and Sportingbet are currently the only 2 bookmakers still offering 7/1 for the David Simcock trained horse, and this looks like a good value e/w bet.
Lingfield 2:45 – Captain Kendall
Luke Morris with the ride here, and this horse is a previous C&D Winner seeking a hat trick. Drawn stall 1 and receiving weight, as this is a step up, I’m expecting further improvements from the horse. Available 7/2 with SkyBet and StanJames.
4:00 Kempton – Cape Crossing
Liam Keniry takes the mount, having been on board for his handicap debut lto. The horse found only one too good on that occasion, and can be expected to progress some more as this will be only his 4th ever run. At 7/1 with Boylesports, the horse looks a good e/w bet.
