Both Teams To Score Tips: 29th Oct

posted by Selectabet Reporter

I’m taking some inspiration from my good friend Mr Fixit this week and going for a Both Teams to Score line. I struck gold last week with 8 out of 8 on one of my lines and with the lower leagues in England in FA Cup action there’s a fair chance we’ll see goals, goals, goals again this weekend.

First match on the list is Witton Albion v Barrow. I don’t know too much about either side but Witton have been banging in the goals of late (29 in 8 games) and are on a 12-game winning streak. They might find it tougher going this week against a team that’s 3 tiers above them in the pyramid. Barrow haven’t been shy in front of goal either, scoring in every single game they’ve played this season, keeping just 4 clean sheets. This looks a good starting point at 4/7 (bwin – this appears to be the only bookie offering odds in this market for this game).

Two Conference South teams clash in the FA Cup when Bromley travel to Dartford. The two sides have met 3 times in just over a year and all three fixtures have resulted in both teams scoring (2-2, 1-4, 3-1). Dartford average 2 per game on the road, Bromley track at just below that number at home. Looking back over both sides last 10 matches and the both to teams to score bet would have landed in 8 each, so goals should be on the cards again. 3/5 (bwin)

There’s an all Blue Sq Premier clash at Field Mill where Mansfield host Fleetwood and this looks like having goals. The Stags have scored in all but 2 of their 17 league games and 9 of their last 10 matches have seen both teams score. Fleetwood’s last 10 games have similar stats and they’re the joint top scorers in the division with 37 goals in 18 games. 4/9 (bwin)

Truro banged in 8 goals in midweek (they scored 7 in the first half) and welcome top of the table Woking in the Conference South. Truro’s last 4 games have featured an amazing 29 goals and in 8 of their last 10 both teams have scored. Woking are highest scorers in this division (32 in 14) but are relatively tight at the back. I’m hoping that Truro being at home will be worth at least a goal to them. 10/21 (bwin)

In to League 2 and there could be goal apiece when Gillingham visit Morecambe. Morecambe’s goal stats are slightly skewed by their stunning 6-0 win over Crawley earlier in the season but recent form shows they still know their way to goal. Their last games have seen them score 12 and lose 10. More of the same tomorrow would do nicely. Gillingham’s recent stats aren’t bad either (11 v 9) and they’ve shown their capable of goals on the road with 16 in 8. 4/6 (Bet365, Blue Sq)

In the Premier League the match looks most likely to produce goals for both sides is at Carrow Road where Norwich are at home to Blackburn. Neither side have scored prolifically this season but they always seem to get themselves on the scoresheet. Rovers may be bottom of the table but they’ve scored in all four away games and have only drawn blanks against Man City and Everton. Similarly Norwich have only failed to score against Man Utd and West Brom. 8/11 (Bet365, SkyBet, Betfred)

All six games pays just over 13/1 at bwin. I’d recommend perming the 6 games into 5-timers (that’s 6 bets) plus one accumulator. Good luck and post any Both Teams to Score tips in the comments section below.
