The SPL title race may be over but there’s still a lot to play for at Celtic Park. Interim boss, Neil Lennon’s first job is to set about narrowing the embarrassing gap between the Hoops and Rangers at the top of the table. If he can do so by putting a winning run together between now and the end of the season he won’t have done his chances of the permanent position any harm.

He can stake a major claim for the job tomorrow by winning at Easter Road. It’s a ground where Celtic have struggled in recent times with only two wins in their last seven visits but tomorrow they face a Hibs side that looks like it’s in free-fall. Defeat to Dundee United in midweek left them rooted in third place and just two points above Motherwell (who were beaten by Falkirk today). That defeat means they have just two wins and two draws from their last nine, so they need a significant improvement to get the better of a Robbie Keane inspired Celtic.

If Lennon can keep the momentum of his first win going then Celtic should land the odds of 3/4 (Expekt) but don’t expect it to be easy. Defending has been a problem for the Bhoys all season and even more so on the road so 3/4 (Bet365) on both teams to score could also provide a route to profit. If you think the Hibees can pile on the misery for Celtic they can be backed at 9/2 (Betfred).

It’s hard to see past Robbie Keane in the scoring stakes. He’s been in cracking form since arriving in Glasgow, despite Celtic’s indifferent results. He’s a paltry 10/3 (Betfred) to open the scoring but he’s certainly the most potent of the attacking players on the pitch.
