MrFixitSaysHere’s this week’s exclusive column from Mr Fixit in association with our friends over McBookie.com…

BOOKIES once paid out at 1000-1 on Arsenal to win the league unbeaten so maybe you can understand their reluctance to go big on Rangers.
The Ibrox men have a minimum of 14 games to play as they chase the SPL title, Co-op Cup and Scottish Cup.
And to remain unbeaten on three fronts McBookie.com make the Ibrox men 6-1.
It might seem a tad skinny but Rangers look capable of doing it, having carved out a 13-point lead at the top, reached the Co-op Cup Final and tomorrow facing Dundee United for a place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

McBookie.com have priced up how many trophies the Ibrox men will win and offer SPL 1/100, Co-op 2/13, Scottish Cup 7/4, SPL/Co-op 1/6, CIS/Scottish Cup 2/1, SPL/Scottish Cup 7/4 and Treble 9/4.

Gers are 3/10 to beat Dundee United tomorrow and should do so although it’s likely to be close. The Arabs are 8/1.

Celtic’s only chance of a trophy is the Scottish Cup and that thought should drive them towards victory at Kilmarnock. That and the fact it was Killie who spoiled Robbie Keane’s debut with a win at Rugby Park last month. The Hoops are 2/5 with Killie 6/1.

Joining the Old Firm in the last four should be Hibs as they bid to end their more than 100-year wait for the trophy.John Hughes’ men face First Division Ross County at home and anything but a win will be a disaster. Hibs are 8-13 with County 8-1.

The final tie is an-all First Division affair between Dundee and Raith Rovers. First Division leaders Dundee are 1/2 to go through but promotion is their priority and I could see the Kirkcaldy men causing a surprise. They are 9/2.

Motherwell can keep up their late bid for third spot in the SPL by beating Hearts at home. Craig Brown’s on-form side are 11/10 with the Jambos 12/5.

St Johnstone (9/5) should win at relegation favourites Falkirk while Hamilton could draw with St Mirren.

Inverness looks best bets at 4/7 to see off Morton at home while Brechin are the same price to dump Arbroath.

Third Division leaders Livingston are 4/9 to stay on course for the Third Division title by winning at Elgin.

  • Scottish treble: Motherwell, Inverness, Brechin
