Arsenal v Burnley: Betfair Betting Preview

Arsenal v Burnley
There may only be two Premier League matches on Saturday afternoon but vital relegation and title points are on offer, and more importantly, there’s money to be made says Betfair’s “Mystical” Mike Norman.
I’ll never forget one of Richard Walker’s first previews for betting.Betfair – it was Arsenal at home to Hull City. Richard must have been delighted to get such an easy game to preview and understandably was all over a home victory. The rest they say is history and just goes to prove that no result is a given in the Premier League – Hull touched 600.0 before going on to cause a massive upset.
However, having said all that, if Arsenal lose this one I will be in shock for the rest of my life. In fact, I’m going to go as far as saying that if the Clarets win this game I’ll let someone shave my head in the Turf Moor centre circle - lightning will never strike twice Rodney Marsh reliably informs me!
A four goal victory for the Gunners will take them to the top of the Premier League, and I have to say, this is definitely on the cards. In the Correct Score market, Any Unquoted score (any team to score at least four goals) is available to back at just 2.9 – understandably so in my opinion as Burnley have taken just one point away from home all season, and have conceded a staggering 43 goals in just 14 games. If you want to be a little more specific with your score prediction then how about 3-0 (7.4), 4-0 (11.0) or even 5-0 (18.0) – those latter two scorelines are available to back in the Correct Score 2 market.
Even at 1.16 I’m going to say that Arsenal are worth a bet to win the match, though at 1.54 to back, my hard earned is going on Arsenal/Arsenal in the Half Time/Full Time market. I considered Draw/Arsenal (5.4), but if the home side are going to score three or four (as I believe they will) then surely they will get at least one in the first half and lead at the interval. Other bets to consider include Over 2.5 Goals (1.5), and Nicklas Bendtner at around 4.8 in the First Goalscorer market. Fingers crossed I’m not bald this time next week!
