£10,000 Challenge: Bet of the Day No.19

It’s been a few weeks since my last Bet of the Day – needless to say it lost and so have been feeling a bit sheepish at my balance being down below £200. But it’s time to pick up the reins again. If I’m going to seriously make this £10k Challenge a success I need to get my finger out and get stuck into some serious action.
Tonight I’ve got my eye on the Scottish Cup replay between Livingston and Clyde. This game took 3 (or maybe 4) attempts to go ahead – that’s the Scottish weather for you! – before both sides drew to force the replay. I had Livi on my coupon for the first game that was abandoned whilst they were leading, fortunately I missed them when the re-arranged game finally got played. But tonight they should be too good at home to a Clyde side who are really struggling this year.
Livi sit top of Division 3, if truth be told they’re really a First Division side, but some off the field indiscretions saw them demoted to the lowest tier on the eve of the new season. And Clyde are bottom of Division 2, having just appointed John McCormack to replace the hapless John Brown. So the momentum surely sits with Livingston at the moment.
That’s reflected in the odds, with Livi shortpriced at 4/9 with Skybet. This is a 10/10 bet so a full half stake for me tonight.

Got a wee whisper about Super Baby in the 1.50 at Catterick tomorrow. Worth watching the betting prior to the race.
Also keep an eye out for Jack’s Island in the 3.15 at Cork and No Rules in the 3.30 at Folkestone. Shhhhhhhhh

Its a tricky one mate. Personally I’d let it run.
Trying to hedge your bets would be a nightmare to work out. It’s easy enough if you’re waiting on just one game but three makes it difficult and if you don’t get it right could end up losing out.
If you do want to hedge it and need help let me know.
