It’s Friday night. It can only mean one thing… Dutch Jupiler League football. Of course.
And it’s my old mates AGOVV Apeldoorn again. They host Emmen in the Netherlands 1st Division and it’s got overs written all over it (I hope!). The last 10 meetings between them have finished Over 2.5 goals with an astonishing 4.9 goals scored on average per game.
I’ve cashed in on Apeldoorn on a few ocassions already this season and 6 of their last 7 matches have finished with more than 2 goals, in fact 5 of those have seen 4 or more. Their league games average over 3.4 per game so the signs are good.
Emmen aren’t quite so prolific but they tend to lose 2 or more away from home so fingers crossed they lose at least that tonight.
I’m going to stick with my £100 staking plan at the moment so I managed to get my bet on with Coral just before kick off.

what bets are you looking at on the weekend
im looking towards the fa cup with arsenal to beat burnley and everton to beat middlesbrough. As you will probably know, arsenal havent scored too many goals of late at the emirates however they welcome back theo walcott who will pose an attacking threat and although adebayor is still out, bendtner has looked very sharp scoring twice and hitting the post at westbrom in midweek. Burnley have done very well against prem opposition but the fa cup is the only piece of silverware which arsenal can realistically win. Arsenal will want to defend their lead against roma on wednesday in the champions league however i believe they will field a strong enough line up to see off burnley.
Everton should welcome back fellaini and louis saha which makes tipping everton to win even sweeter. Just when it looked like middlesbrough had turned around their bad fortune with 2-0 home wins against west ham and liverpool they lost 4-0 against tottenham in midweek. I think everton will win this fairly comfortably by a couple of goals.

I think arsenal are a good bet this weekend . It’s Arsenal’s best chance of silverware this season so they should be up for it.
My biggest concern in backing the big three in the cup is whether they’ll have an eye on the CL ties this midweek.
It might be worth waiting to see the line ups before putting the bet(s) on and backing them as one single at a time.
