£20,000 Challenge: Bet of the Day No.53 & 54

I didn’t get the chance to post about Bet 53 but I was on the Overs in the Barca v Espanyol match last night. Seems it was quite a game as Espanyol shocked their hosts with a 2-1 win which was a good enough result for me. I had £100 on at 1/2 with Paddy Power so another £50 was added to the coffers taking me over £500 for the first time in ages.

And so onto Bet 54 today.

I’ve plumped for the match between Locarno and Schaffhausen in the Swiss Challenge League. Both teams have been banging in the goals recently. Locarno have scored 14 in their last 6 and lost the same amount, that’s an average of 4.7 per game. For Schaffhausen’s last 6 the average is 4.3 per game so it seems there’s plenty of goals in each team.

I’ve hit a bit of problem though. Boylesports’ bet limiter has kicked in again. They’ll only let me bet £12.00! Yes £12.00 – I haven’t missed a zero out. What is the point of these guys offering a market if that’s all they’ll take on it?

The next best price is available at Jetbull, so I’ve opened up an account with them but they won’t accept my deposit. I’m guessing they need proof of ID but unbelievably their ‘live’ chat support is only ‘live’ on Monday to Friday from 2pm – 5pm. Hardly prime punting time eh? Jokers! No response from their email support either 12 hours later.

So at the moment all I have is £12.00 on at 8/13 with Boylesports.
