£20,000 Challenge: Bet of the Day No.46

Things ain’t exactly going to plan with the £20,000 Challenge. I’ve lost all focus on it and have been scrambling around for a run of form. But I’m not giving up and I’m getting back into it this week. My balance is dwindling by the week and my banked £500 is long gone so I need to get a few winners on the board asap.

The System has taken a hammering recently but I’m going to stick with it – for the rest of this season anyway.

There appears to be a few good opportunities today and my first bet is on Overs (surprise, surprise) in the Eredivisie match between Heerenveen and Roda.

Heerenveen has meant goals this season. They’re the joint second top scorers in the Eredivisie but have also lost more goals than any other team in the top 12. They’ve struck 9 in the last 3 and look in good vein of goalscoring form.

Roda are at the bottom end of the table and aren’t quite so prolific but games between the two have seen goals in the past with 4-3, and 5-4 scorelines being recorded in the last 4 seasons.
