The magic of the FA Cup returns this weekend with a full card of 3rd round action up and down England. As well as the game at White Hart Lane there’s two other all-Premier League clashes; Hull v Newcastle and Sunderland v Bolton. The Cup could offer a welcome distraction for a few of these teams.
At least one non-league team will be in the hat for the Fourth Round draw and the winners of the Kettering Town v Eastwood match will hoping to be paired with one of the Big Guns in the next round. And all eyes will be on fellow non-leaguers Blyth Spartans on Monday night when they entertain Sam Allardyce’s Blackburn Rovers live on Setanta Sports. The bookies rate them as no-hopers, pricing them up at 14/1 (SkyBet) to spring the shock of the round.
