£20,000 Challenge: Bet of the Day No.32

I had a bit of a bad day as far the Challenge goes yesterday. I got off to a winning start but my betting limit at bwin kept my returns pretty low – I’m looking forward to bwin upping my staking limit as it’s stopping me from placing full bets and slowing down the Challenge. In the evening I had a very, very lucky escape when a goal in injury time landed my overs bet in Switzerland but my luck ran out when Fenerbache could only win 2-0 at home. That cost me £373.52 and brought my balance back down to £860.57 (including my banked £500). So there’s a bit of a rebuilding job to be down in the next week or two an I need to go on a bit of a run.

With the Norwegian leagues finished I’ve been cashing in on the Danish markets recently and I’m playing there today again. The match between Kolding and Fredericia looks like it’ll have goals in it. 7 of the last 8 meetings between the two has finished overs and the games average 4 per match.

Fredericia have been in the goals a lot of late with 28 goals being scored in their last 6 matches so I hope there’s few more goals in store today. Antonis also fancies this one too and after he got 3 out of 3 right yesterday I hope his form continues

Boylesports were offering the best odds on this one at 1.5 but when I went to place my bet there they’d only take £49.00. I put it on anyway, then went back to tr and place another bet and the odds had changed to 1.44 – I think that’s the first time I’ve ever forced a price down with a bet! Anyway, I got the rest on at Sportingbet at 1.45.
