£20,000 Challenge: Bet of the Day No. 13

Onwards and upwards eh? The System took one helluva beating yesterday and in the end I think I was lucky to get out with one win (even though bwin limited my stake) and one defeat. But I still believe!

I need to get the bank back up to something respectable so I’m going at it today again. First up I was torn between two 2pm kick-offs in Norway. Firstly Alta versus my old friends Konsvinger; the game looks nailed on for overs but the two teams lowly league positions scares me off – I know they’re capable of losing goals but not sure sure about scoring them.

The game that I’ve gone with is bottom of the table Hodd at home to fifth placed Notodden FK. Hodd have conceded 61 goals in 15 league games – the worst in the league. Notodden have score 54 and only league leaders Odd Grenland can better that. Hodd haven’t kept a clean sheet in… well a long time and the last time the two sides met Notodden won 5-1 so that gives me some confidence.
