Euro 2008: Germany Certs to Win Tonight
Best Bookies, Betting, Bookmakers, Euro 2008, Fixed Odds, Football, Tipsters | selectabet | June 16, 2008 at 7:07 pmAustria v Germany
It’s virtually unthinkable that Germany can lose out to Austria and end their Euro 2008 campaign in Vienna tonight. Messrs. Ballack and Co. might as well not return to their homeland if they cannot see off the tournament co-hosts for they will be savaged by a baying German press and public.

Germany only really need to avoid defeat to go through to the Quarter Finals where they will meet Phil Scolari’s Portugal but they should qualify with some room to spare. This Austria side as a poor as they come. Sure they’ll be motived by the psuedo-political backdrop to a tie with their old enemy, but no amount of nationalistic fervour can bridge the gap in footballing class.
But for a questionable last-minute penalty decision against Poland the Austrian would already be out. They’ve shown to little to suggest they can cause one of the biggest upsets in European Championship history in this one. No, It has to be Germany to win tonight. They’re best priced at 2/5 (888 Sport, Bet365, William Hill) which isn’t great but it does look like a license to print money. The biggest worry is that the Germans don’t need to win – a draw will do. But I think they’ll want to show their neighbours who’s boss and win by a couple.
Get on them before that price gets any shorter.

Hi,
A very nice blog you have here. Thx for adding it to the Sportsbetting bloglisting.
Watch out with the Adsense adds however. I doubt it that they will ever pay you. Cause your blog is about gambling you are in violation with their Program Policies. You can find an article about on my blog.
Good luck with the EC2008.
