After the disappointment of his Las Vegas defeat to Floyd Mayweather, Ricky Hatton goes back to his roots on Saturday. As if Manchester didn’t see enough scrapping last Wednesday when Rangers ‘fans’ invaded the city, this weekend the City of Manchester Stadium will host Hatton’s ‘Homecoming’.

The bookies early odds suggest it might be a bit of a walk in the park for ‘The Hitman’. He’s best priced at 1/8 with BetInternet to defeat Juan Lazcano for the IBO Light-Welterweight title. Lazcano for his part is as big as 17/2 (Skybet) to cause an upset.

It’d pay to get on some these odds early as they’re likely to shorten as the week goes on and attention moves away from the Champions League.
