Rangers Odds Cut to win UEFA Cup

After another heroic European performance in Lisbon on Thursday night, Rangers have been cut to 11/2 to lift the UEFA Cup in Manchester in May. Walter Smith’s men seen off the challenge of Sporting Lisbon with a textbook European performance, nicking 2 goals on the break. Confidence must be at an all-time high at the Ibrox club and I’m slightly surprised that they’re as big as 11/2 at this stage – so for me it looks like good value.

Favourites Bayern Munich just scraped past Getafe with an extra-time, injury-time equaliser from Luca Toni that took them through on away goals to face Zenit St. Petersburg in the Semis.
