Bet of the Day: VVVery good chance of goals in Holland

Forget the Super Sunday in the Premier League, the Dutch Eredivisie is where it’s at for me today. You may have noticed that I’ve had a fair bit of success on betting in the goals over market in this league and I’m at it today again.

There’s two games that look likely to have goals in them. The first one is an early kick-off at 11.30 where VVV Venlo entertain NEC and the second is the Rotterdam derby when Sparta host Feyenoord.

I’m only really interested in the VVV v NEC game as local derbys are often tight affairs. NEC have been rattling them in recently, scoring 18 in their last 6 outings and look full of goals at the moment. VVV followers have also seen a lot of goals lately. with 24 strikes hitting the back of the net in VVV’s last 5 games. The last meeting between the teams ended 2-2 in December and the same result today would do nicely.

NEC are fancied to win this one but I’ll be betting on there being over 2.5 goals at 4/6 with Stan James.
