Bet of the Day: Another Dutch Goalfest

Do you ever get the feeling that you can influence a football match just by betting on it? Maybe its just me but when an apparent ‘banker’ loses there can only be one explanation – I backed it! We’ll that’s how it felt after yesterday’s result at Fratton Park. That was a sore one – but onwards and upwards eh?

I’m going back into the Dutch Eredivisie again today and it’s a league that just seems to produce goals. After Thursday’s success in the Utrecht v Excelsior match (which finished 4-1) I’m going for another game to finish with over 2.5 goals scored. Much like Thursday I’ve checked out BetDevil.com and it has Exclesior v Roda at 83% to finish overs. The bookies have it at around 60% so this looks like a good value bet.

Excelsior ’s matches always seem to be entertaining enough, averaging over 4 a game in their last 8 outings. Roda aren’t far behind with 31 goals scored in their last 8 – although there have been 3 unders in that time. I expect Roda will win the match, here’s hoping with a good few goals to spare.
