Bet: Going Dutch for a Win

Dutch Eredivisie
I didn’t have a bet yesterday, there just wasn’t anything that took my fancy. My money is burning a hole in my pocket and have been taking a look at the games today. The first one of any real interest is in Holland where Feyenoord are away to Roda. To be honest I don’t know much about the Dutch league but did have some moderate success on it last year by backing the big 3 mostly. A quick look at the stats suggests that Feyenoord should be clear favourites in this one. I could only go back as far as the last 10 games and Feyenoord have won 6 and drawn 4 of them. A win today would take Feyenoord to the top of the Eredivisie. I know they’ve strengthened pre-season with the likes of Van Bronckhurst and the prolific Roy Makaay so I’m going to go for the away win.
They’re best priced at 1/1 with BlueSq, but can you believe they’re even better priced at 6/5 with Stan James on the Asian Handicap (-0.5), which is the exact same bet as backing them to win on the win-draw-win market. I love it when bookies do this.
Selection: Feyenoord win on Asian Handicap (-0.5). £55.52 @ 6/5 Stan James
